Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Ultra the high-end models from the Zenfone 3 series are now available in India. Unveiled in India in August, the devices weren’t made available for sale then. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe, comes in two different variants: with Snapdragon 821 processor & 256 GB of storage while the other variant has the older Snapdragon 820 processor & 64 GB of space capacity. The two versions are supported by a 6 GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display. On camera front they feature a 23 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and optical image stabilization, along with an 8 MP front selfie camera. The 256 GB variant is priced at INR 62,999 while the 64GB variant is priced at INR 49,999. They are available in Sand Gold or Glacier Silver colour options.
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is a bigger version with 6.8 Full HD display. Ultra features a Snapdragon 652 processor supported by 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. On the camera front it is same as the Deluxe variant with 23 MP + 8 MP cameras. The Zenfone 3 Ultra is priced at INR 49,999 and is available in Glacier Silver & Titanium Grey colours.

In a related news Asus announced plans to manufacture newly launched Zenfone 3 Max smartphone in the country. The company will manufacture the smartphone from its facility in Daman and the production is expected to start from December 2016, the company said in a statement.
Peter Chang, Region Head, South Asia and Country Manager for Asus India said in a press release: “Besides our headquarters in Taiwan, India is among the most important markets for us and we are constantly looking to strengthen our presence and operations in the country.“
Zenfone 3 Max is the third smartphone in the Zenfone series to be locally manufactured by Asus. Earlier the Taiwanese company began production of Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Go from its Indian facility last year. Max smartphone comes in two variants 5.5-inch (ZC553KL) and 5.2-inch (ZC520TL) & features 16MP/8MP and 13MP/5MP rear+front cameras, respectively.
