Asus, the Taiwanese Computer and handset maker on Thursday launched new smartphones in its flagship ZenFone 3 series in an event in Vietnam. Named as ZenFone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser they are priced at VND 4,490,000 (approximately Rs. 13,500) and VND 5,990,000 (approximately Rs. 18,000) respectively. Both the gadgets will for sale in Vietnam soon.
Asus has unveiled Zenfone 3 Series smartphones for the first time in June this year. The Asus ZenFone 3 Max sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD full-HD display and is powered 3GB of RAM. The gadget has an inbuilt storage capacity of 32GB and features a fingerprint scanner which can unlock the handset in 0.2 seconds. The device comes with a 4,100mAh battery and supports reverse charging as seen in Asus Zenfone Max 2016 version. The Chipset details are unknwn to us at the time of publishing this post.
Zenfone 3 Laser Features
The ZenFone 3 Laser is the successor of Zenfone 2 Laser. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D arc glass and sports a second-generation laser autofocus with a focus speed of 0.03 seconds. It features a 13-megapixel ‘PixelMaster’ camera with Sony IMX214 sensor with EIS (electronic image stabilisation) features. Both the smartphones will be available in Glacier Silver, Titanium Grey, and Sand Gold colours. Availability of these smartphones outside Vietnam is unknown.
As earlier reported by Indian Express, Asus is set to reveal Zenfone 3 range smartphones in India in the month of August.
