Asus, the Taiwanese gadget manufacturer has launched a new smartphone in its ZenFone Pegasus series smartphone in China. Named as Zenfone Pegasus 3 the gadget is available in two variants based on RAM and storage capacity i.e; a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage model and a 2GB RAM with 16GB storage model. The gadget is currently available in China and International availability is unknown.
Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, Pegasus 3 sports a 5.2-inch 720×1280 pixel 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0. On the camera front, Pegasus 3 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera and is powered by a 4100mAh battery. Coming in a Metal-clad, Pegasus 3 has a hybrid SIM card slot, that is one slot for the Nano-SIM and another slot for either a second Nano-SIM or a microSD card.

Asus ZenFone Pegasus 3 is 4G compatible and supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The official Asus store confirms that the handset supports Indian LTE bands and comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
In India, Asus launched its new notebooks A540 and R558. The notebooks priced at Rs. 20,990 and Rs. 43,990 respectively, both the laptops run on Free DOS while sporting a VGA webcam, a 1TB 5400RPM HDD, and SD card reader support. The laptops feature one port each of USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and USB 3.1 Type-C.
In the last month, Asus launched an upgraded Asus Zenfone Max 2016 in India and at its Zenvolution event in Taiwan had unveiled the new ZenFone 3 series in three variants ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra varying in different sizes and specifications.
