Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic special edition to be launched on July 7th

Samsung, the South Korean electronics major is all set to launch Olympic special edition of Galaxy S7 Edge on July 7th. A teaser was released by a Samsung’s Germany division on 1st July on its Facebook page revealing the launch of Olympic special edition. Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7 were first announced at Mobile World Congress 2016. The high-end smartphones are priced at Rs. 56,900 and Rs. 48,900 respectively on Flipkart.

Galaxy S7 Edge Features:

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge sports a 5-inch QHD Super AMOLED display (2560 x 1440), powered by  octa-core Exynos 8890 processor and a 4GB RAM. On the storage front, Samsung S7 Edge has an internal storage capacity of 32GB which is expandable up to 200GB using an external micro SD card.

The device has 12MP primary rear camera with LED flash,  in the front, it has a 5MP front camera. Primary camera features include Auto Focus, Motion Mode, Dual Pixel, Panorama Mode, f/1.7, Hyperlapse, Slow Motion, Pro-mode, Live Broadcast, Video Collage, Food Mode, Virtual Shot.

The device is supported by a Li-Ion 3600 mAh battery and guarantees 27 hours talk time on 3G.  S7 Edge is compatible with 4G and has  features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, WiF, GPRS, and USB connectivity. The device runs on an Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI. Sensors options include Fingerprint Sensor, Accelerometer, HR Sensor, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor. The device has dimensions 72.6×150.9×7.7 mm and weighs 157g. The device is water resistant for up to 30 minutes in a water  depth of 1.5 meters or below.
