Intex Cloud String HD launched in India, features a Fingerprint Sensor

Intex, the homegrown Indian gadget maker and the owner of IPL franchise Gujarat Lions have unveiled its new Cloud String HD smartphone. At a price tag of Rs 5,599, the smartphone supports 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz) and is also compatible with VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call adaptability. Another key feature about this gadget is its fingerprint sensor sporting a mirror-glass finish. The Android 5.1 OS run smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294ppi. The handset is run by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC9832A) SoC clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The gadget has an inbuilt memory of 8GB and supports expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The gadget sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus feature supported by LED flash. Cloud String HD camera features include features on the include smile detection and face detection modes. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. Measuring 144.5×72.5×8.7mm, the Cloud String HD smartphone weighs 150 grams. Listed on e-tailer Flipkart, the gadget runs on a 2200mAh battery is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 190 hours of standby time on 2G network.
