Moto Z Force and Moto Z with Moto Mods Launched

Lenovo, the Chinese tech giant, unveiled Moto Z and Moto Z Force, semi-modular smartphones at the much awaited Tech World 2016. Modular phones are said to be the future ahead, and LG has already launched LG G5, a modular smartphone. Moto Z and Moto Z Force comes with support for Moto Mods (What is this? :P). Using 16 magnetic pins at the back of the smartphones, Moto Mods can be swapped with rear covers to include some sort of feature enhancement or accessory.

Moto Mods Insta-Share projector

A 70-inch movie projector, Moto Insta-Share projector can be used to either beam videos or images onto any surface. The bulky of all three announced modules Moto Insta-Share projector comes with a slightly protruding unit and a built-in speaker.

Moto Mods Power Packs

A sleek module, Power Packs, can be used to as power backup facility. Power Packs can be snapped to the rear of Moto Z Force and Moto Z to add an extra 2,200mAh battery life which equals to 22 hours of battery life. Moto Mod comes with wireless charging option. To create elegant designs Motorola has Motorola has partnered with Kate Spade New York, Incipio, and TUMI.

Moto Mods JBL Sound Boost

The Mod created in association JBL can transform the smartphone into a speaker. With Two three-watt drivers, Moto Mods comes with a built-in 1,000mAh battery.

Moto Z features:

Moto Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. Supported by a 4GB RAM, the gadget will be available in 32/64GB storage option. On camera front, Moto Z comes with a rear 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture lens, Laser autofocus, and dual-LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP and comes along with a 2,600mAh battery.

On the other hand, Moto Z Force, comes with a display similar to Moto X Force. A 3500mAh battery supports moto Z Force while featuring a 21MP rear camera. Moto Z Force and Moto Z feature same amount of RAM and storage options.

Pricing and India launch date are not yet revealed. Lenovo earlier announced the launch of Lenovo Vibe K5.
