Mumbai-based Mobile distribution company Priyanka Communications is the latest entrant into the much competitive Indian smartphone market that is dominated by Chinese smartphone makers. Priyanka Communications first launched smartphones in this February under the brand name “Centric.” The brand currently has four smartphones, namely L1, G1, P1, and P1+.
Centric G1 Specifications
Centric G1 Smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6737 processor supported with 3 GB of RAM. The device sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD with Dragontrail Glass Scratch Resistant display. It features a Capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device weighs 165 grams and is 8.95-mm thin. Powered by 2900 mAh battery, the device runs on Android 6.0 OS. On the Camera front, it features a 8 MP rear shooter with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Digital Zoom, Video Recording and a Front Facing Camera of 5 MP.
The Quad core processor in the CPU along with 3 GB of RAM ensures the phone runs smoothly with multiple applications open simultaneously. On the storage front, Centric G1 features 16 GB of internal storage capacity which can be further expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card. This is a Dual SIM Smartphone and supports 4G LTE as well as VOLTE. Other connectivity options include GPS, HotSpot, Wifi, Bluetooth. The device is priced at INR, 9,000/-.
