Oppo A57 to launched on Feb 3; Features and Specifications

OPPO, the Guangdong, China-based smartphone maker is all set to launch A57 selfie-focused smartphone in India on February 3.  The smartphone was first launched in China in November last year. The No.1 Chinese smartphone manufacturer confirmed the launch in India markets by a tweet, “The all new #OPPOA57 is hitting the markets on the 3rd of February.”

Oppo A57 sports a 5.2 inch HD LCD with a 2.5 D curved glass protection. It sports a metal unibody design with the Home button acting as a fingerprint sensor. With a design similar to predecessors the volume adjusters are placed on the left side, while the power button is placed on the right side of the smartphone. An octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC supported with 3GB of RAM powers the device. On the camera front, A57 features a 16 MP front-facing selfied camera with f/2.0 aperture. On the rear, it has a 13 MP shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 and a LED flash module. A57 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box customized with Oppo’s customized Color OS 3.0 skin on top.

On the storage front, it has an inbuilt 32GB storage capacity with an option to expand it up to 128 GB by an external memory card. The gadget supports 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. A 2900mAh battery powers the smartphone. It weighs about 147 grams and has the dimensions 149.1×72.9×7.65mm.

In 2016, OPPO launched two selfie-centric F1s and the F1 Plus featuring a 16 MP front camera. In China, A57 smartphone was priced at RMB 1,599 ( approx INR 16,000). The device is expected to be available in two color variants: – Gold & Rose Gold.
