Google India launched two low-cost Chromebooks in association with Xolo and Indonesian handset maker, Nexian. Google also announced two other variants of Chromebooks in association with Asus and Samsung, which will available in the second half of 2015.
In terms of specifications, the Xolo Chromebook sports a 11.6-inch TFT display and a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a Rockchip 3288 SoC having a 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex A17 processor along with a quad-core ARM Mali 760 GPU paired with 2GB RAM(DDR3L). The Chromebook has a built in storage of 16GB but can be further expanded using SD card. The device will run on Google’s Chrome OS and features two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 1MP web camera and comes with Bluetooth 4.0. The laptop comes packed in with 4,200mAh battery and offers a backup of 10 hours.
